I had the best most unexpected experience today at Dairy Queen. I went in through the drive thru to order a Oreo blizzard birthday cake. Once I got to the drive thru I was greeted by Wyatt who was very sweet. I gave him my card but to my surprise at that time the Dairy Queen was not able to take it. I was worried because I had my 4 children in the car and I did not have another method to pay for this cake that I needed for my son. Wyatt looked at me and said “I can’t turn you away , it’s a birthday cake. I will pay for it”. I was completely shocked and had absolutely no words. I really could not believe that was happening to me. I wish he knew how much that meant for me. I am stay at home mom and we live off of one income. He made my day so much easier for me. Words can’t describe how this experience made me feel. I am very thankful because he went beyond. He is an angel and I hope Dairy Queen recognizes this young man for paying out of pocket for a cake that was for a complete stranger. Thank you Wyatt for being so kind you really made our day. This has been forwarded to dairy queen headquarters !

We used to love dairy queen but the portion sizes have gotten ridiculously small for the prices they are charging. The de facto definition of shrink-flation. Prices go up, portion sizes go down. They have other tricks like putting lids on top of the blizzards to reduce the overall volume and portion size. Just shameful.

I asked for three simple items. 1 kids cone with sprinkles....for a kid, keep in mind. The shift lead said they can't put sprinkles on the cone but they can on the side.... 2 I asked for a cherry dipped cone and said they don't do cherry dipped cones..... but then said they have cherry dipped dilly bars...... Only gave food 2* bc the guy who gave me the food was cool, idk his name but shout out to you bro.
