The food was fairly good. Mac & cheese, hot and good, fries nice and hot. However, a monster pretzel + beer cheese came out not hot at all which was a disappointment. The beer was mediocre at best. The specials they were running for Washington Spirit match attendees weren’t entirely clear — we ordered beer and then got told afterwards that we hadn’t selected the free beers so we’d have to pay for them. That’s fine, we paid. The kicker is the house beers — the free ones — weren’t very good. There was no crowd control, just shove as many people in as possible. I think they were honestly probably above their fire marshal set capacity limits. This meant that there was nearly no seating — we spent a lot of time keeping people from taking our friends’ chairs when they were stuck in the incredibly long drink lines. Additionally, the noise levels were untenable because the number of people meant it was loud, so then the volume on the music kept being turned up, so then people talked even louder. We won’t be back, we’ll go to Solace after matches instead. Wheelchair accessibility: This place isn’t all that accessible. It has a step over at the entrance that isn’t possible to get a wheelchair over.
Love this place for a pregame or post game whenever I go to a Nats game! Tons of German beer selections.
A large party of us went on Friday and the service was really incredible. The bartender made sure my friend enjoyed her birthday and went above and beyond to be kind to the whole group and bring her cake. Thank you!!!
Peanut butter burger Hickory bacon burger Old fashioned Wheat Beers All was amazing
A great place to grab a drink and a bite to eat before a Spirit soccer match or Nats game!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Dacha with my fiancé, and it was an experience to remember. From the moment we stepped through the doors, we were greeted warmly by a wonderful bubbly, blonde hostess. We had requested a table by the window to make our evening extra special, and she went above and beyond to accommodate us, ensuring our view was picturesque. We felt super well taken care of. Our server, Sean, was super friendly. He guided us through the menu , offering recommendations and answering all of our questions. While the dishes we ordered were good, I must admit that the prices were a tad on the higher side. The slightly inflated prices did leave us feeling a bit hesitant to indulge in as much as we might have liked.
The vibes at dacha are always great, and the staff there is wonderful, especially Ella! She works so hard to make a positive atmosphere for everyone, and will make sure that you have such a great time you continue to come back. Love Ella and love dacha!
the experience my friends and I had was immaculate. aside from the great atmosphere, aesthetics of the outside portion of the establishment, and the cozy vibes - I thoroughly enjoyed the hostess that had greeted us (I believe her name was Ella or Bella but she was blonde and very sweet), and our server Herbet (dark haired gentleman). the great food was also amazing and basically what solidified that we have to come back soon. would definitely recommend bringing a few friends along to share the joy, but I also understand why you would want to keep this gem all to yourself .
The service was great! Our hostess Ella was very kind and accommodating to me and my partner. She answered all of our questions before we sat down. The place was busy and cute!
