Da Hong Pao Restaurant and Bar

I regretted every second and every penny spent in this place. Why? Da Hong Pao is a freaking joke... it should be shut down already considering how extremely OVERPRICED and DECEPTIVE this place was. This so-called seafood restaurant knows nothing about cooking seafood. The fish we ordered was soooo sloppy when the texture was supposed to be firm. And no kidding, it was unbelievably expensive - $70 for a tiny portion. If that was not scam I don’t know what was. And let’s talk about dim sum. The revolting leftovers they served were in no way dim sum. There was a weird chemical taste to the shrimp dumpling and I couldn’t even picture how they pulled that off. Come on, stop shaming the name of dim sum! And the service? Very eye-opening. Our server kept staring at us when we were writing down tips. Hmm a little uncomfortable wasn’t it. But wait there was more. She literally pulled out our receipt as soon as we finished and chased us to the door to ask for more tips.

Food, great! Service, great! Atmosphere, great! Food came out rather quickly and was sooo delicious

Everything was great! Good service, my favourite was the spare ribs in black bean sauce. Will be back soon!
