Cross Street Market

Built to serve the growing area of South Baltimore, Cross Street Market is one of the oldest public markets in the USA. It has seen many structural renovations throughout its life, and today’s 29,803-square-foot market was completed in 1952. In May 2019, Cross Street Market began to re-open in phases, following a year-long renovation. Located in historic Federal Hill and four blocks from the Inner Harbor and the downtown business district, the market is surrounded by charming 19th-century homes and caters to food lovers of all kinds.
