Copper Fox Distillery Sperryville

Founded by Rick Wasmund in 2005, we were the first North American distillery to build a traditional malt floor and kiln since the repeal of Prohibition. Our Sperryville distillery is housed in a rustic converted cider mill in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, just 7 miles from the Thornton River Gap entrance to Shenandoah National Park. Tours are offered seven days at 11 am ,1 pm & 3 pm —no reservations required. Whisky flights, handcrafted seasonal cocktails, and spirits are available for purchase. Indoor and outdoor seating in our cocktail garden overlooking the Thornton River. Family-friendly. Well-behaved dogs on leash are welcome in the tasting room and in our outdoor spaces.
