Ageless family run landmark, and a staple in the community serving Shamokin/Coal Township are. Coney burgers and dogs are legendary. Just walk in and say "I up, 1 down" and see for yourself! Parking: Hit or miss depending on what time of day.

Was good as always

$10.28 for 2 chili dogs! Hot dog off the grill was barely luke warm, chili was bland and unexciting, and quite pricey. I am from the Wilkes-Barre area working in Elysburg. Heard very good things about this place...history, great place, great chili dogs etc. Sorry folks. Head up to W.B. for some great chili dogs...Abe's, Ferris's, Ranch Wagon...pick one. They will treat you to a true, tasty coney island dog.

The guys behind the counter are super cool. Our first time there was a good time and then we went to the train display at the library. Will be back for sure.

Vegetarian options: There are absolutely no vegetarian options. This place is a time portal to the 1940s. Don't even try to customize your burger or dog. Just get it the way it's intended- simple coal miner syle.
