Cloudy Co

This spot is easily one of the best milk tea places in the US, making the drive down to Irvine totally worth it. I always find myself ordering at least two drinks because they’re that good. The Cloudy Puff and Cheese Foam are my absolute favorites. The seasonal special, cloudy puff peach oolong milk tea with peach jelly, is also a must-have. Plus, the staff was incredibly kind and helpful when I was placing my order over the phone. Highly recommend checking it out if you’re a milk tea enthusiast like me!

I have tried several different types of drink here. I like their Osmanthus Oolong Tea and the Black Jade. The fruit smoothies are good too but I prefer tea more. May be because it is winter time. I think the fruit smoothies may be really refreshing during summer time. As for the milk tea, I can really taste the tea. I personally like the bitterness of the tea. I always ask for less sugar because I don't want to be overloaded with sugar when enjoying the drink. If you want it sweet, you can always ask for the 100%. The cashier is very friendly and really knows what items they sell there. Although at times, some items may run out, but she always apologize for not having the item. Very good customer service. I must ask for her name next time. The tables are very spread out. They have plenty of their own customers. Comparing to the nearby Orobae tea place in the same plaza, this one has shorter line. For me, I think I prefer Cloudy Co's drink more than Orobae because I felt Orobae tea doesn't have strong tea taste in their drinks. Plenty of parking in this shopping plaza. Parking: There is an EV charger parking and disabled parking right outside this shop.

The review is for the drink only. We had the osmanthus oolong milk tea and the white peach oolong milk tea. To be honest, I can't really tell the difference between two drinks as their bases are the same but the flavors don't really stand out much. Another thing is the osmanthus comes in smaller cup which is quite expensive for a drink cost $6.5 before tax.
