I have passed by this restaurant many times, but never thought to go in. I decided to take my daughter out for lunch to thank her for all her help during the holidays. Wanting to try something new, we found good reviews for City Diner. It's very much a mom and pop operation. I love going to local places instead of chains. Service was great, and food was excellent.
Menu large and diverse as befits a classic diner. Portions generous, priced appropriately. Breakfast anytime. The omelets (3 eggs) are huge. So are the burgers. Onion rings a must. Never feels crowded. Eat hearty and enjoy
Personnel pas très accueillant mais on se retrouve dans un diner typique, "dans son jus", comme dans les années 60 les plats sont très variés mais un peu trop gras.
I'm from Long Island, so is the owner. The minute I walked in it felt like home. The food is on point. Been a loyal customer since the day it opened.
The staff was very friendly. Our food arrived right on time, and the pancakes are absolutely spectacular. The buttermilk flavor is just right, mea ING not too strong.
