Suggestivo caffè elegante vicino al mercato di S.Ambrogio
Wonderful experience. We had just arrived in Florence, and this made for a very nice introduction into the local food and wine. A shame the nearby farmer's market is all torn up for a renovation, but I'm sure it will be lovely in the future.
Direi da ritornare spesso.
I feel misled by the overall high reviews. Our party of 2 was sat with the menu and waiting about 40mins before a server came to take our order (only AFTER we flagged someone down). I don’t blame the servers for the slow service, this was purely staff mismanagement and they were doing their best. Food was nothing special and didn’t seem worth the price or the wait. We ordered the bistecca and the Cacio e burro.
This rustling bustling little cafe seems to be favoured by the locals- I saw many people come here for a quick espresso or a catch up lunch with friends and family. I reserved a table therefore got seated quickly. The ragu pasta was sold out unfortunately so I took the one with cheese, which was good too.
Absolutely lovely and traditional. Slow down and enjoy it!!
Durant notre séjour nous avons petit-déjeuné et déjeuné plusieurs fois dans ce café.
Le service était très agréable. Bon rapport qualité prix.
La crème d’amande servie avec le pain est incroyable !
Quick lunch for two - seated outside.
A must stop for authentic pasta. Highly recommend the Tagliolini Cacio e Burro (pasta).
The staff was very friendly and the environment’s great.
