Churchill's Fish & Chips Sawston

Overpriced, undersized and generally not very good. The young lady serving completely forgot that salt and vinegar exist. Wish I'd seen the other reviews first. They clearly don't care about how disappointed their customers are. How is this place still in business? Fortunately, they can copy and paste that my 'feedback will be passed to the Operations Manager' Definitely won't be back.

They started off so well but I guess nothing changes. It was busy but the server was just rude. The portion size for a large chips was ridiculously small, wish I could post a picture because it is laughable.

Great food and value

Chip shop that doesn't deliver chips ordered a burger and chips burger came fine. Missing a crucial ingredient the chips. Tried calling to find out after 6 mins of ringing get put through to the head office which of course is closed. How can a chip shop forget their main ingredients chips. .

Humburger was a little bit bland and too dry

Really disappointed in the portion sizes. Used to highly recommend Churchill’s Sawston. Paid nearly £24 for two large cod and one large chips and although they were tasty, the portion sizes are much smaller than they used to be. If what we had was large, then a fish finger must be the small. Don’t go here if you’re hungry. Please also update your board to what is actually available.

Good food, special price at lunchtime, nice staff

Best local chip shop. Would recommend pre ordering from the App as it gets busy at times. Never too greasy, and I just love the curry sauce.

We've had take away from here quite a few times and always been happy until this evening. Portion sizes for the chips were tiny. My son's l kids meal had more chips then an adults fish and chips. Really disappointing and we all were still really hungry afterwards. Can't imagine we'll be back in a hurry.
