Chopsticks

The food is very good here, but the portion size is my big praise. I recommend the two-meat plate, and no one should reasonably eat everything in one sitting. I told my wife that we should have divided a plate, and we could have added some egg rolls to the appetizing crunchy spring roll that is included. We have enjoyed the food at two locations, and we recommend them both.

Good food

I gave up going to Chopsticks a few years ago because of a black, beetle like bug in my takeout order. When I took it back, the owner/manager?, asked if I wanted a new order. Umm nooo…. He eventually gave me my money back. Today I went back because a friend requested it. It, like every other fast food restaurant has gone up a lot on their prices. What got me was the rudeness of the lady at the window. (Tall lady). After I thanked her for the order, I asked for a little sweet and sour sauce, she stared at me for at least 10 seconds and I felt the need to tell her it was for the spring roll. (This was not a language situation, her english was great) She finally got it for me and as I was saying thank you, she shut the window in my face. Turns out I really didn’t need the sauce after all because the spring roll was the size of my thumb. Needless to say, I won’t ever go back.

I read the reviews and wanted to like this place because it’s very close to home but the food is not worth my time. The meat and veggies were fresh but there was no flavor in anything. Fried rice was not fried at all, kung pow chicken was in some kind of gravy kind of like a pot roast liquid. The hot and sour soup was neither hot nor sour. It had a lot of cabbage which I did kind of like but again no heat or flavor other than cabbage soup. I’m from the north east and Baton Rouge and I know what Chinese should taste like. Sigh….i guess Panda is the only game in town. I will watch this place in case things turn around as it’s 3 miles from home but for now I will stay away. How do you good up fried rice? I was going to actually fry it myself but my wife said just eat it. 70% of what we ordered went in the trash.

Best Chopsticks in the Greater Waco area! Not only is the food great but they have wood paneling in the restrooms! Lol On top of that they said it would take 10 minutes for the food to be ready but brought it all the way out to my car in 8 minutes. It's 17° outside that's excellent customer service I highly recommend this place to anyone interested in cheap delicious Chinese food!

Service was great, and family seemed to enjoy the food. Still enjoying the food.
