I made an online order to Chipotle and I went there to pick up my food, got my food and everything seemed fine. Nope. When I went to eat my bowl there was a bug in my bowl. I have never had this happen at any restaurant and it makes me question how sanitary this place is. When I called to ask for a refund one of the employees answered my call and basically said "sorry there is nothing I can do for you, you have to get your refund online." They did not once seem concerned that there was a BUG in the bowl. The only way I could get my refund is explaining the situation for a third time online and they will not even contact me again until tomorrow. As someone who has a major phobia of bugs this was a very traumatizing experience. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!
Service is not consistent. It could be busy at times which is normal since it is near UCI. When not busy it seems they don't refill the food or replace it. I wouldn't order online or ahead as the quality of the food they prepare is no good. Definitely order in person.
Im writing this review because of how hilarious my experience was. That was the most Gen Z customer service Ive ever experience! Lol. Emo rap blasting, no welcome or smile. The whole staff just looks like “Im just here to do the bare minimum.” The cashier slid my bag like we are in a bar. In stead of handing my drink cup just places it in the bag. Like no respect at all! Im not even upset because what can you expect? The store is next to a college. Ill give them 4 stars consistency.
The server at 08:50 PM on Mar 18th definitely needs some training. Of course, a bit of empathy to the customers as well. If I see her there, again I'm going somewhere else! Thank you for the eye opener.
Got the food that's been sitting and not fresh, it was all the remaining pieces sitting at the bottom. Didn't change containers for fresh food.
They always really skimp on the protein. They also frequently don't season the chicken right so it ends up really bland. Worst chipotle I've been to
