Authentic Mexican food and delicious vegan options. I am a huge fan of their squash blossoms, in particular on a sope. Flavorful and reasonably priced. Kind people—the first time I was there, they gave us samples of the nopales and the hibiscus drink so that we could see if we liked them first. They are very accommodating to vegan diets as well. 10/10, my favorite Mexican restaurant in the Milwaukee area. Vegetarian options: Ask them to make it vegan and they are happy to do so. Absolutely the BEST al pastor tacos! They are uniquely flavored with a mole' sauce that I've never found anywhere else. From the freshly made corn tortillas to the homemade salsas, this is a goto for anyone looking for truly authentic flavors and reasonable prices. LOVE CHILANGO EXPRESS!!! This place is absolutely amazing. Corn tortillas were the best I've had. Chilango plate is the way to go. Everything exquisite. Flan is off the chain.

I wanted corn tortillas, so my boyfriend searched up the best corn tortillas in the Milwaukee area and we landed on Chilango Express, and I am so glad we did. We both got the Chilango platter and it was crazy delicious, and yes - the tortillas were off the chain. We also got the flan for dessert and it was some of the best flan I’ve ever had. Margaritas were gigantic and delicious. Service was warm and outstanding. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you so much for the excellent experience!

We love this place! Can you tell by the ratings? They are family run and operated and some of the best Mexican food I've had outside of Mexico. They make their own tortillas and that makes all the difference in the world for me. Plus we eat vegetarian selections more then meat and they offer some really great veggie options. And if you like Mole sauce you definitely need to try theirs. So much flavor, it's amazing. They also cater and we had a party with their food and our guest were blown away.
