Chestnut Tree Bistro

One of my favorite spots to grab a bite. The menu is great and the service is impeccable. This is a must visit for Lunch or Brunch.

We were today for brunch the food was good enough to come back, however we were finished our coffee and food and big cockroach was climbing the wall right at our table. This was very disgusting.The waiter did what he could and removed it with a napkin. The place look very nice and all the staff was very kind and friendly however the situation with the cockroach left me with a bad impression :(

A place a have been wanting to go back to but keep forgetting about. Today we made it for lunch with colleagues. I like that breakfast/brunch options are available at lunch time. The food was excellent and the service was great! The service was not super fast but cooking from scratch takes time. I will definitely be back!

got treated with contempt by the hostess when wife and i came a month and some weeks back... at first i tried to just let it go but it's still bothering me and preventing us from wanting to eat here again so here goes: alishia at the front treated my wife and i with utter contempt and vile rudeness,after we saw her being nice to the peoplel before us. The only reason we could discern is because we had a traditional older look (were both 60s) and she looked more like a "flower child" type we have no issue with that but she obviously had an issue with us even being in the restaurant... We didn't even stay at our table long enough to be served because we decided the abuse from alishia was too much and just left. Probably should have told the manager or owner at the time but im doin it now Absolutely unacceptable, we are very nice and mild mannered people... we barely only said hi and that we were just 2 people who needed to be seated and in return she gives us rude remarks "are you sure it's only 2?" with a sneer and then she's "surprised to see people our age" in there when we see other people our age going there all the time on facebook and wherever!! Then when she sat us down she goes, "i just want to remind you guys this is an inclusive and accepting place, so keep that in mind" she said this like it was a threat and we somehow would be anti inclusive or something when we barely said 2 words to her besides hello, and there's 2 of us, that's all we said. I had a texas flag on my shirt, was that enough to make her think im some sort of bigot or evil guy? i just love texas because i grew up here.... Unacceptable treatment

Cute place for breakfast and lunch. It was really busy, so I appreciated how the wait staff managed everyone. I enjoyed my breakfast and hot tea, and my husband said his poached eggs were perfect. Prepare for a wait on the weekends.
