Javier Pérez Koch, 1st generation Mexican American, emergency room physician and our original brewer with over 30 years of beer brewing experience, quietly opened Cheluna brewery with his best friend + wife Jennifer on December 1, 2016. Cheluna is a multi award winning production microbrewery + taproom, a warm and inviting gathering place for good people to enjoy one another’s company and delicious Mexican inspired craft beers, brewed at our one and only location inside the South Stanley Marketplace entrance. We are thrilled to now have the expertise of head brewer Tomás Barrios, who first practiced and refined his craft brewing in Scotland.
