Good food, please stop in and have a bite.
Family style restaurant, neighborhood feel, non-commercialized with slick "image" sells. Excellent food and genuine Mexicano San Antonio cultural experience. Quite, Comfortable. Near Brackenridge Park.
Última vez que voy ya me había pasado pero dije tal vez solo fue una vez pero ya van varias se les olvida ponerte algo cuando pides para llevar (limones etc.)
I’m from out of town. I wanted to try the “puffy tacos” and can say it was great food at very reasonable prices! The atmosphere inside the restaurant was calm at lunch time on the weekend, but the staff was lovely and food was great! Having never tried the tacos, I can say the shell felt like tamale corn slightly fried! Lots of menu options.
First time.. barely any people... they only have one cook.. been waiting for 45 mins and nobody told us why they were taking long for our order. Disappointed with the lack of communication and service. Will not come again. Such bad service... I witness a pancake fall from a plate to the table.. and the server picked it up and put it back on the plate.. not impressed with this place. Will never come again.
Kind of a bad experience. We just walked in and our server seemed bothered and even annoyed that we sat at her table. Our “combo meal” had so much iceberg lettuce that the dish was just wet and soggy. I took 2 bites of each and just couldn’t do it - pretty much left everything on my plate. My mother ate some of hers because she was hungry but the texture of everything was just wet and soggy but weirdly dry at the same time (the chicken flautas and rice). It was all just gross. The other server whom gave us our check was sweet and nice - but our initial server just seemed annoyed and bothered. We ended up going to Paloma Blanca after - where the service was great and the food was hot and delicious. First and last time at this place.
Absolutely wonderful tacos with great service
They wanted to accuse me for leaving with out paying when the cops were there eating as well and they told the cops they think am going to leave and they said it’s okay we will make sure she pays for one y’all shouldn’t accuse someone when you think the other payed for someone else next time ask if the order is complete or not before checking someone out
It was an amazing experience and our server was very kind. We got chips and salsa , pozole, horchata, Mexican hot chocolate, chicken flautas, and churros with cajeta totaling up to about 36 dollars for me and my husband. It was very good and tastes just like Mexican food.
