I had a profoundly disappointing experience at Century House in Woodstock today. I've been there a dozen times before. Today was memorable in an unfortunate way. Despite the restaurant being barely a quarter full, the service was shockingly slow and inattentive. It took an astonishing 35 minutes just to have drinks brought to our table after being seated. The wait for our food was even longer, dragging on for 40 minutes. To make matters worse, the server assigned to our table was extremely disrespectful and rude, a behavior that completely tarnished what should have been a pleasant dining experience. Out of respect for privacy, I won't mention the server's name, but this occurred today between 1:30 and 2:30 p.m. I am truly disheartened by the lack of professionalism and courtesy displayed, and I cannot foresee myself returning or recommending this place to anyone.
Been going here for 10 plus years. Food has continued to decline and so have the people going here. It was a great place to go for great food, now not so much. Even the salmon sandwich is now a sandwich patty?? I will not be back until they raise their standards. What happened???
Excellent service abs entrees.
The chicken fried chicken is outstanding
Awesome service. Nice twist on menu flavors. High quality and huge portions
We celebrated our 35th year anniversary, and had an incredible experience! Table was set with our favorite glass of presecco waiting. Table location was fabulous in the glassed in area, but any area would have been perfect. We had a lovely dinner. The Tuna appetizer was AMAZING. Everyone was so welcoming, and the service was perfect!! We could not have asked for a more memorable experience. We definitely recommend this place and will be back again and again!! Parking: Downtown Woodstock
Thankful is the best food I have ever had. I order a small plate and the small plate was pork belly and grits, the flavors together are so good. For my entree I had the salmon with corn and cauliflower rice. I loved it. I wish they would have added just a little bit more cauliflower rice but it was delish. They give you nice size portions . The customer service is good. Dessert was the bomb. They have a cream brulee. The cream brulee was so good, it was party in my mouth. So I do recommend people go to Century House Restaurant. The atmosphere was great.
