I guess everything has gone up in price. Food is still great and nicely redone interior. But $22.50 for a sandwich and lemonade seems steep.

I've been many times. Always pleased with the food , service and atmosphere. There are new menu items. The chicken noodle and matzoh ball soupes are delicious. The deli sandwiches are very large. The breads are not entirely what we get in NY-NJ but this is VA after all. Service is very friendly. Entirely recommend.

Stopped in for lunch today and the food was outstanding! The pastrami was piled high and the bread toasted perfectly! The waitresses were so polite and pleasant! The atmosphere had a really cool funky vibe! Will definitely come back the next time I’m in the area!

I ordered online: the burger was soggy and the nova lox came without any if the sides.... it was only salmon. I called the place to let them know and they answered "we did everything perfectly! The burger was not soggy and the nova lox were sent correctly... if you have a complaint call uber eats..." I didn't order from uber eats. I ORDERED DIRECTLY IN THEIR WEBPAGE. Not the first issue with them. They are rude and the service is poor. Beware! Do not spend a dime there!

Love the new half sandwiches menu. Delicious soups and salads as well. Great people working there. Owner comes by and makes sure you're happy.

What a find! I was staying in the area and was thrilled to see this place. Apparently, it's been there for more than years. Having lived in NYC for many years, I can assure everyone this place is legit for the classics. But, there is so much more. The latkes, soups, salads, burgers, dogs, sandwiches, etc...all looked appealing. I saw the Poutine and Cheesesteaks on the menu and almost screamed with joy. The cucumber salad was also good. They seem to make almost everything in-house. Everyone who works there is especially nice and welcoming. For my first visit I had the Pistou soup and the Chopped Cobb salad. Both were delicious. Second visit was a half of a sandwich and a side. The Pastrami on Pumpernickel with cheese, slaw, and Russian was very tasty. The cucumber salad side was also good. For my third visit I had the Breakfast Poutine. I substituted the bacon for the brisket. The poached, eggs, hollandaise, and fries were great. I appreciated that they don't salt the fries. It is a spectacular dish and the perfect way to start a day.

A bit noisy, but pleasant diner vibe.
