Carters Lake Marina & Resort

Beautiful area and the lake is stunning. Carters lake is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains — Gilmer and Murray Counties. Plenty to do including fishing, hiking, boating, kayaking, etc. Perfect place to getaway and enjoy Mother Earth. 🥾🚤🚴‍♀️🚣‍♂️🏃🏽‍♀️🏊🏼‍♀️🎣☀️🛶🚶‍♀️🐠🍂 #NeverStopExploring Fun Fact: Carters lake is fed by the Coosawattee River that runs between Ellijay and Chatsworth, and was formed by Carters Dam. Georgias tallest, deepest earthen dam east of the Mississippi completed in 1977.

Have not been able to stay here yet but have checked it out and it's a great place for renting a cabin. They look clean and roomy with different selections of the size to accommodate your family or friends. The staff that was there the day we looked at them was very helpful and friendly.

Muy Buen lugar para pasarla en familia. Y para cocinar al carbón las carnes asada ahí una caseta bien grande con mesas. Bien cómodo para hacer una actividad.
