When I tell you this food was AMAZING, please believe me! My boyfriend and I went here last night for a late night bite (their late hours are a plus!) and we were not disappointed! Simon helped us, he was great; answered all our questions and was very nice. My boyfriend got the chicken chimi sandwich, and he literally made some kind of noise after every bite lol. I got steak tacos, and we both got an assortment of empanadas, which were all also amazing. No complaints on anything. This place is definitely going into our rotation of local faves. I wish I had taken a picture but once we had those first bites, it was over from there.

This is a Dominican spot that feels like home. Nothing fancy, wait time is just right for the food, the fact that they ran out of something just tells me they are killing it in the kitchen (per usual) Anytime someone is in town, I bring them here as tradition and we always have a great time, and if you know a typical Dominican spot, this restaurant exceeds expectations. Thank you Carmen and staff, you are truly appreciated!!!!

I live in the area so coming here late night is dope . I’ve been coming here for years . However, i came in recently , and it was a new cashier (not the male cashier) . She didn’t greet me , didn’t ask me if i wanted something to drink , or even ask if i was ready to pay . She just dismissed me by talking to a customer behind me . Once my food was done , i asked for more ketchup instead of the two packets they provided . She kept trying to tell me two packets are enough for ME which i had to repeatedly tell her i need more. I checked my food but when i bit into it … it wasn’t the protein i chose. Not only was she rude , gave me hell about a couple more ketchup packets, but she also got my order wrong. Good thing i stay in the area and was able to get it corrected (she was still rude when i got back). This was my first unpleasant experience here and i hope it don’t happen again.
