Captain Jack's Seafood Buffet

This place was horrible! It was cheap buffet food at quality food prices. Then they automatically put an 18% fee for gratuity which they barely even check on you. Then they request another tip at the end. We had to hunt the waitress down for the check! I do not recommend!

Just a short review as Jacks had great food and good selections, the only issue I had was first I over ate. But secondly they add a 18% service fee to the bill and the suggested tips start at 20% and up. I still do not know what the 18% is for, but I will say that after the total bill was sent out, this place is a little bit cheaper than the other all you can eat crab leg places we have tried before while on vacation. Also the crab legs were probably the easiest to get the meat out of here than any other place we have tried, bout did not need the crab pliers. I just wish I knew what the fee was for and forgot to ask before we left as I ate so much I was miserable.

We wanted to give this place a try because we know you can't satisfy everyone. We were very pleased with our waitress. She was very accommodating and polite for our group of 6. We were not pleased with the food at all. The crablegs were really salty but they pulled easily. The food from the bar did not taste like "fresh" seafood. It all had a processed taste. It was very hot in the resturant. The AC unit just couldn't keep up with the heat. We sat right under the thermostat that read 79 in the building.
