Captain George's Fish & Chips

First time visit after reading the reviews. Man oh man are they right. This meal for 6 adults was astounding. Onion rings like I have never had before. Crispy, flavourful, and not soggy. The fish is generous and also truly amazing. The atmosphere was clean and the employees were awesome. This is our new fish and chips place. Please go there and find out for yourself. Just wow. Food was take out.

First time having Captain George's Fish & Chips in good ol' Galt, Cambridge, Ontario last night and I must say it was delicious. The fish, fries we're not overly greasy and the combination of the Halibut, fries and coleslaw all coagulating together brings back good old fond memories and don't tell nobody but it was almost as perfect as Ma & Pa's. It was super busy at 6:00 PM but well worth the wait... Friendly staff with smiles and ready to serve with pleasure. I just moved back to South Central Galt so I'm close by... God willingly I'll be returning in the near future for round 2 :)

Great staff and food

First time in this establishment. Ordered halibut and haddock and burger. Was very delicious. Lots of fries. Laisia was very friendly and patient. I asked her a lot of questions. I would definitely go back.

Friday night. Very busy with take out. Had to wait a little, but boy was it worth it. I had the halibut and shrimp. My wife had the haddock. Best fish and chip place by a mile. This was our first time here, but certainly not our last. Even if they were to give us food half as good, it would still be better than the competition

Great place to eat! Staff were top notch! They helped with the menu, and were very attentive to the customer. The serving presentation was very appealing, food was hot, fresh, delicious and worth the money.The staff checked up to see if we were satisfied, twice!
