The food didn’t look right from the jump I ordered this from door dash I got the crab dip, fried oyster basket & crab cake. $60 worth of food just to throw it all up in less than 2 hours of getting it I’ll never order from this place again
Very disappointed in the food. Crab dip tasted okay but very greasy. Hush puppies had a weird taste and the texture was odd. We were told the crab legs were a good size but they were not. Very small and hard to open. But the worse part was the melted butter for the crab legs tasted just like movie theatre popcorn butter, the kind you pump yourself out of the machine. Very gross! My roasted potatoes were burnt!! I told the waitress and she very nicely offered to get us some fresh potatoes. The second batch wasn't burnt but really overseasoned. After taking a few bites of my meal I became nauseous and couldn't eat anymore. Not sure if it was the greasy crab dip, the nasty hush puppies or the smell of the burnt potatoes but I felt that way for several hours. My grandson did enjoy the shrimp and french fry basket. And the waitress was very nice and accommodating. But I doubt that I'll go back there again to eat.
We ate here for lunch for the first time today! We will definitely be back! The environment was great, and so clean! We had the best service by Christian, she was so helpful and knowledgeable. She made our first experience so enjoyable! I got the Cabo Tacos - they were perfection! My husband got the smoked salmon Alfredo which was also delicious!
I normally go to the one at The Village and get great service and great food. However, this time, I ended up at the other one in Raleigh. The service was extremely slow(waiting over 30 minutes for our food), the water had a funky taste and the food was good but not great.
Went to celebrate two birthdays with extended family after having tasted some of their fabulous leftovers from a previous visit. Hubby and the youngest split a hushpuppy basket. Typically, they fight over hushpuppies, but neither ate what they took and didn't bother taking the leftovers, said they were overcooked and bland. The rest shared the mussels appetizer and all wished we'd ordered more, they big, fresh, juicy and perfectly cooked, never had better. MIL had Lobster and Shrimp risotto again; it was fabulous again. My oldest had Shrimp Diablo again, wiped her plate clean, loves the diablo sauce. My youngest ordered Chicken Jarrett and gobbled every bite even though she's not fond of tomatoes or asparagus. Now she loves them! I ordered the small shrimp and grits and wished I'd ordered the large, best I've ever had. Hubby ordered the chicken tenders basket. His slaw was excellent, the fries were fries, and while he prefers chicken cooked past medium, his was so overcooked it was severely dry, tasted dull. Our server was kind, sweet, cheerful and willing, but slow. Once the meals were served, she never came back to refill drinks or check again. We had to flag her down for refills and the check. Decided not to order dessert as it would take too long. Management was nice and I absolutely will be back because hubby wanted creme brulee!
They ran out of the special I wanted and it wasnt even that late. But overall the food, the service was very good. Quality seafood!
Great food fast service and reasonable prices
