California Pizza Kitchen

i walked in and asked what the wait time is, then i went to the car to check other options. we decided to call the restaurant and a nice lady put our name on the wait list. we waited 25 minutes in the car and walked back in. this man at the host stand (he looked like a host or manager) was a complete jerk to me when i was nothing but nice. i explained to him that i talked to a lady on the phone and she put my name on the list. he kept saying we don’t do over the phone reservations and acted like i was crazy and that it’s my problem, when one of their employees did put my name on the list over the phone. and im a waitress i understand things get messed up occasionally. that’s fine mistakes happen but he was very rude and didn’t listen to me. he kept saying “fun fact you should’ve put your name down the first time u came in”. lol obviously. well fun fact, usually when a restaurant makes a mistake like that they apologize for the inconvenience, instead of acting like you want to fight. he doesn’t seem like he can handle a customer service job. i’m surprised he gets away with talking to people like that. so we just left because that guy was mean to me for their mistake.

I really don’t want to be this person, but don’t go here. Waitress was so snappy!! My pizza was cold and over greasy. Me and my husband’s pops were flat and flavorless. Overpriced. Rather eat little ceaser over this

Just picked up 1 pizza and an order of avocado egg rolls…. So disappointing. We have always loved this place. The pizza was like cardboard… and it was their specialty bbq chicken pizza. They are slipping. Quality horrible. 40 dollars wasted. We will not be back. We would have had a better meal putting a frozen pizza in the oven.

We had to ask for bread and butter 4 times until it came. They also forgot our pizza and when we asked about it they said it had a “hole in it” and it would be out in a few minutes and the pizza never came. The bathroom is also very small and hard to move in the workers are also very rude and side eyed us and gave us dirty looks for asking for bread. The food was also very dry. We will not be coming back here.

Good pizza and good soup.

It was just okay honestly. Most of my complaints revolve around the restaurant atmosphere. First the good. It's a family place surround by high end eats and bars. So in a pinch with kids it's a safe bet. I don't have any kids but that's the vibe I get from it. Also the food wasn't bad but definetly stick to the pizza. The bad. In a nut shell I felt like I was eating at a slightly better Applebee's. They seated me in a larger booth in the corner and the wood beside us was caked in dust so much so that the person I was with commented on it as well. Its a fine place to eat in a pinch but personally with all the other options around and in that mall I think I will not be back.
