Potta 'cca is an idiom from the town of Modica in Sicily, where the winemaker Candido was born. The name of the wine means Bring here!, it is an invitation to fill the glass with this varietal delicacy from the southwest of Sicily.This great wine is made of 100% Petit Verdot. To gently extract the color and tannins during fermentation, the winemaker uses the Delestage technique, an intensive immersion of contact the juice with the skin of the grape.The color is a garnet red with violet reflections. The bouquet shows harmonious notes of fragrant blackberries and rose petals. The palate is flattered by a velvety texture and balanced tannins.

95 Points Jeb Dunnuck - Readers looking to get a taste of the impeccable quality and style from Schrader at a more affordable price point would do well to check out the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Double Diamond. Coming all from Oakville, it has a classic Cabernet nose of black and blue fruits, green tobacco, cedar pencil, damp earth, and chocolate. It's not over the top and has beautiful varietal character as well as medium to full body, ripe yet present tannins, good overall freshness, and a great finish. This is beautifully done and well worth a case purchase. I'd lean toward drinking bottles over the coming 10-12 years, but I certainly wouldn't be surprised to see it evolve longer.

Perfect, classic, abundant describe the 2012 vintage. Quality and quantity were in great supply in the 2012 harvest. Beautiful Spring, Summer and Fall weather highlighted the growing season. With very few concerns, winegrowers and winemakers were able to sit back and allow Mother Nature to strut her stuff -- and strut she did. The vintage was, literally, a mirror image of the classic 2005 vintage -- climate--wise, yield-wise and quality-wise. Great aroma development, phenomenal extraction and unctuous flavors were the result of patience and creativity. The big crop required a great deal of flexibility and ingenuity in the cellar as tank, barrel and cellar space became squeezed toward the end of harvest. But we all endured and made some memorable wines from a spectacular vintage. It is one for the ages!

The soils at Fay are alluvial, remnants of an ancient riverbed, unlike the rock that eroded off the Stags Leap Escarpment and collected at the base of the hill at S.L.V., Winiarski's original vineyard. In 2017, Fay is the elegant beauty. There's nothing pushy or potent about its complexity, just a waterfall of minerals and fruits that seems to continue long after each taste. It would be hard not to fall in love with this wine's svelte refinement. Open a bottle and let it lift your mood.

The most incredible and evocative scents come spilling out of the glass, conjuring notions of freshly crushed black raspberries, wild blueberries, red and black currant compote and raspberry leaves with subtler hints of roses, violets, tilled soil, cigar box and fragrant earth. So, when we took it out of barrel to prepare for bottling we added a few more components.
