Love the ambiance here. Seems to be some sort of seating type for everyone. Beautiful decor, fresh and airy. It is spendy. I only had a beer but my friend enjoyed their amaretto sour.
Such an elegant restaurant for a nice beautiful brunch. The Egg Royale is top tier and the service is even better! Our server, Ian, was attentive, kind, and extremely helpful. We will definitely be back!
We had lunch at this elegant and brightly lit restaurant a while back while exploring the area. The dining experience was good; the restaurant had plenty of natural light, and there was a large glass case with impressive flowers as if they were inside a glasshouse. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu, and the service was decent. The food and drinks were good, and overall, we enjoyed all aspects of the restaurant.
Best lunch in downtown dc
Delightfully interesting atmosphere, which was very helpful considering the over worked staff had some issues with efficiency. Food was fantastic, loved the side arugula salad with breakfast sandwiches. The cappuccino and latte were uplifting and tasty
Riggs cafe is located in the Riggs hotel across the Smithsonian American Art Museum. We stopped there for breakfast. We had blueberry pancakes, avocado tost and couple other things, and of course cappuccino. It was so good, I had to hold myself from ordering more. Everything was very tasty. We paid for 3 people with tip $120, and we didn't order any alcohol drinks. As you can see, this place is very pricey.
Waiter was inattentive, slow. Food was average and overpriced. Would not return
