Byte - Coffee and Burritos was founded by two IT Professionals of which one lives and works downtown. and the other previously having 10 years experience in the restaurant business owned and operated 4 locations in downtown ABQ in the 90's. The need downtown for a good, spicy breakfast burrito and a great cup of coffee at an affordable price was too overwhelming not to address and being IT guys, when we see a problem we fix it. Byte is a takeout café with a walk-up window located at 4th and Central Ave. on historic Route 66. Being geeks we utilize cutting edge technology for online ordering, food prep, 21st century "home cooking" in the traditional New Mexico style making everything on the menu fresh daily.
