Busboys and Poets - Columbia

I apologize in advance for the poor photo. Please don't let that dissuade you from trying this dish. This was my first time at Bus Boys and Poets and my colleague and I wanted to eat light for lunch and try something new. This not beef bowl far exceeded my expectations . I definitely will be back.

Whether it's an impromptu brunch, dinner, a public/private event, or ordering delivery to my home -- Bus Boys always delivers a good experience and the staff is always friendly and helpful.

It's been a few months since I've been to this specific location for a family members private 60th bday party. I waited intentionally to see if things would change for the better and it did NOT! The manager ASHLEY, who assisted with this party, appeared to know what she was doing but clearly did NOT. Her COMMUNICATION to her staff as well as the guest with children was also NOT made clear about a CHILDREN'S MENU. Out of all the guest there it was 5 children and ALL were sitting at the SAME table(hard to miss them). The parents INQUIRED with the wait staff to see if their was a CHILDREN'S MENU available to order from. The wait staff who was ALSO NOT informed if one existed SAID that they were ONLY serving the designated meals for the party. Because of that being COMMUNICATED to the parents of the CHILDREN they went and ordered 5 plates of food from the menu of the party that was set up for the ADULTS ONLY. ASHLEY was micromanaging ALL night but didn't pay attention to see that the table with the CHILDREN did NOT have children's menu food??? So because ASHLEY fell short and did NOT advise her staff that the table with the children are to be ONLY served children's menu food(as it was DISCUSSED THOROUGHLY PRIOR to the event)my family has to come out of pocket an EXTRA $300???? The UNPROFESSIONAL behavior does NOT stop there. We called to clear this up with ASHLEY MULTIPLE times. She was supposed to call back because she wasn't available and STILL no phone call yet. We are truly disgusted and won't ever support this establishment AGAIN! I will make sure to keep sharing the word to folks not to have any big parties OR even support this business especially if ASHLEY is working there.
