What a wonderful place keep doing what your doing and was lovely sitting by a warm fire on a cool day
A very cute tea room that retains all the charm from historic Battle that you would expect and is very welcoming to dogs.
Mrs Burton is situated next to the ancient Abbey Gate in Battle. Its a medieval building with a lovely warm atmosphere very fitting in this ancient town. The cooking is top rate and so is the welcome we received. And this is the place to get the best breakfast in Battle. Parking: In the Abbey car park and two other car parks
This is pleasant enough, busy little business. We had just missed breakfast so an early lunch at 1115. I am probably out of step thinking £7.50 is a bit steep for a bowl of soup, but it is what it is. The place is open on Sunday, not much else is, and nice enough, warm out of the early winter chill
Prime location by the Abbey. Was going to go to a chain coffee shop, but thought we'd spend the money in a local independent place. The cup of teas was nice, the hot chocolate too sweet. We ordered a cheese and tomato toastie. £7. It was very disappointing. 2 slices of cheap white bread, 4 thin slices if tomato and a bit of cheese. Won't be going back there again.
Service good, overall pricey but lovely to eat in
The quality of our full English breakfast was superb.
