Took my parents today for a treat in there 64th wedding anniversary . Waited over an hour for the food which was cold . Dad had a real ale that was so cloudy you couldn’t see through it … the young waitress explained it was ok they had cleaned the cellar and knocked the barrel hence the cloudy beer - well you should be letting it re settle not serving it . No atmosphere . Service was appalling worse I’ve experienced for years . Shame on you bulls head

The place is fabulous , family friendly for handouts. Food tastes good and got a big packing space.

Vegetarian options: Very poor limited choice.Banana skins in batter absolutely dreadful

Party of 7 on Easter Monday we all studied the original menu to decide what we would like to eat and not a lot was actually available to pick from when we came to order so then was directed to 'specials menu' so a little disappointed in that area. Cannot fault the waiting staff at all very attentive and looked after us with drinks etc. and after a slight accident with a glass replaced a couple of meals for us so 10/10 thanks guys.

Not it's usual shining self. The food just seemed to be lacking. Doesn't compare to last few visits.

Only stayed one night but the rooms were lovely and the breakfast was great.

The service was amazing - rachael was fabulous! The food was lush and delicious! All of our desserts were beautifully presented and the prettiest things I’ve ever seen… well done to Carl! Awesome work young man. You have a bright future ahead of you!
