£4.30 for a pasty?! I know food has become more expensive but that’s too much. And as the name Cornish Pasty is a protected food designationand can only be called that if made in Cornwall to a specific recipe, I hope they are made there and shipped in.
Super-friendly and lovely food too
Fantastic place to eat. Sandwichs were second to none, we were very happy to stumble across this. We had a Turkey & Smoked Bacon Club Baguette, a Southern Fried Chicken Baguette & a Sausage Roll. You can really tell they are freshly made, not just a run of the mill baguette, but something special. We popped back later in the day to grab some cakes which looked delicious earlier (and they were), and the guy behind the counter remembered us from earlier! Fantastic customer service. We had a Red Velvet Cookie Pie & a Blondie Oreo & Biscoff Pie. Would definitely go here when/if we go back to Shrewsbury.
Do not miss this place, a must visit in Shrewsbury. Not the cheapest, but the best. Everything is delicious.
Food is delicious and the staff are always lovely. My favourite on-the-go lunch spot in town.
Lovely little family run place. They make fresh sandwiches, wraps, cakes, coffee etc. First, they are having similar prices compared to GREGGS, lower prices than COSTA/NERO. Second, their quality is better than all the above mentioned names. Third, they smile as they serve, even though they’re hard pressed for time. You can observe a long queue all day in this Shrewsbury outfit. I would recommend everyone coming to Shrewsbury not to miss this.
Anyone can make a vegan chicken sandwich but it takes skill to perfect it with a friendly welcoming smile and a lovely atmosphere. Skill that Brown and Francis has.
