Headliner is Broadsheet's fresh, seasonal blend. The contents might change, but the freshness of the coffees in the bag won't, and neither will the flavor profile. We aim to provide an approachable cup that is full of chocolate and cherries. Something that works as a pour-over, in your automatic brewer, or as an espresso. A great morning cup, black or with milk, as well as something interesting enough to hold the attention of aficionados. Currently using a blend of Peruvian and naturally processed Ethiopian coffees.

A darker blend of fresh, in-season coffees that we carefully select to create a delicious, crowd-pleasing and versatile bag. Components come from Central and South America, and each coffee is roasted separately and combined after-the-fact based on ratios we constantly test to ensure consistency.

The Kalita Wave is an excellent beginner's pour-over method. This flat bottomed dripper has three small holes which regulate outflow, which means you can worry a little less about precision pouring during those bleary-eyed mornings! Instead of immediately draining through the brew-bed, water bounces off the bottom and recirculates, mildly agitating the coffee grounds and aiding extraction. The Hario V60 is the preferred pour-over method of many baristas, producing crisp cups that reward precision. The spiral ridges direct water in towards the center, which helps brewers avoid high-and-dry grounds, and the BPA-free plastic is an excellent insulator, keeping the brew temperature high and the price low. We recommend Scott Rao's brew method, which involves swirling the dripper after pouring to ensure proper extraction—not too much, not too little, for a sweet and balanced cup.
