I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Bright Star Restaurant, and I must say, it was an absolutely flawless experience from start to finish. From the moment I stepped through the doors of this historic establishment, I was transported to a place where culinary excellence and tradition reign supreme. We had never been to this historic restaurant before, so glad we tried it out! Everything was top notch. Excellent all the way around. Highly recommend!!!!

Amazing the history and the beauty of this particular restaurant is quite Amazing five star restaurant hands-down I did not make a reservation, but I was able to get seated very quickly. I loved my server. She served me with grace and love and care the food was amazing. I highly recommend this spot for seafood all the things you can think of amazing place to eat. My food was amazing. My family had a wonderful time. It was my husband’s birthday and we had an amazing time. Thank you so much.

Bright Star is a favorite of locals. Rich is history, this is the only “nice” restaurant left in the area. The food is always good and the service is great. With that being said on a recent visit I noticed the dining areas were not as clean as they should be. A lot of dust fixtures and in corners. The table my husband and I was sat at was not clean. Crumbs and food particles from I assume the previous guest on the table, the tray for the sugar, salt, pepper was very messy with food partials, dust and Evan a couple of hairs. Bright Star, we love your establishment. Please step up the cleaning.

Been here several times and every time it is a treat. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. The history alone is impressive as the oldest restaurant in Alabama. The food is always delicious and served with large portions. This is a special place to many and I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Went for Valentine’s Day and it was perfect! A great spot to take a date to a nice dinner. Everything I had there was amazing. Will 100% be coming back
