Break Away II Sports Lounge

This was our first visit back to BAII since those around the quad-state region heard the shocking & tearful news of the tragic loss our longtime friend & business acquaintance Paul Harp. We had frequented BAII for years maybe weekly for a while or every couple of weeks, or thereabouts. Once the warehouse was renovated and what a spectacular sight! Paul did a phenomenal job! We utilized it several times for fundraising events. Yesterday’s visit was AMAZING! The new owner seems to have been working hard to keep Paul’s business alive! The food, OMG! was AAAA-MAZZZZING! OH MY GOODNESS FOLKS … YOU MUST GO HUNGRY!! There are tons of mouthwatering eats for you to sink your teeth into FO’SHO!! Yummy! ***DATE NIGHT for me & my man(married 30 years/June 13th, only 2 weeks after meeting he asked momma for my hand/met on phone dating system!! Side note, never let anyone tell you it won’t work no matter what! Don’t, give up! Never GIVE UP! Who EVER said life was easy!!!*** Moving on! If you aren’t sure which one to select… do exactly what we did!! selected 3 “STARTERS” asked waitress which one she recommended… 1) potato skins covered in crab 2) crab dip 3) egg rolls Waitress recommended potato skins AND OMG!! ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! FRESH!! Came out hot, fresh, and oh so deliciouso My forever man & I ordered the following two meals … BUT WAIT until you hear what we did … Order this!! 1) crab cakes entree with two sides Cesar salad & slaw uh, uh, uh :-) (gonna hurt this one, give me that fork) 2) macaroni & cheese comes with ham /bacon & WHOLE lot of YUMMY side salad (your choice of dressing) We then split these two meals and mixed the crab cake into the Mac n cheese!! YUMMY! YUMMY! YUMMY! This Mac n Cheese is HANDS DOWN DELICIOUS! Taste like it was made exactly that moment it was ordered, it very well may have been!! KUDOS BAII!! Staff were friendly, provided excellent customer service! Paul would be proud,pretty sure he is!! Parking: Plenty of parking indeed

Surprisingly fun place! We really like the outdoor seating option and the food is always good. When they have specials, they are always amazing. Service is only marked a little lower because they do get crazy busy. Service is good, they just need more people!

From out of town and stopped for a game of pool and a beer with a buddy. I decided on food, and holy smokes!! BEST CRAB CAKES OF MY LIFE!!!! They are a little pricey, but well worth it if you appreciate amazing crab cakes!!!
