I sometimes bake my own bread. One time, I used rancid flour. The bread is safe to eat, but it has an "off" smell and it tastes bitter. This is the smell I encountered at Breadsmith. Unfortunately, the bread had a bitter taste like the flour is going bad. This shouldn't happen if the business consists of baking and selling bread. I was hoping I was wrong because making my own bread is more than I want to do most of the time. The chew was great. I like a little darker with more crisp/crunch on the crust. A bad batch of flour will leave a bad taste in your mouth.

I've never had anything from here I didn't like. The best molasses cookies! My favorite is the cheddar jalapeño bread on Saturdays! They give out samples of 2 or 3 of their products daily! Highly recommend!!
