The Bread Basket Cake Company, owned by Gilbert and Paul Delagnes, has been impressing customers with rich and delicious desserts for over two decades. Gilbert Delagnes was born in Sonoma County, the heart of California’s wine country. He learned early in life that special occasions with friends and family often centered around a wonderful meal, and beautiful desserts. His love for culinary arts brought him to study under Jean and Anne who owned Costeaux French Bakery in Healdsburg, CA. He then opened Michel’s Croissant Shop in Menlo Park, CA., before moving to Southern California to buy the Bread Basket Cake Company in 1988.
