Really wierd quote-unquote restaurant! It's more like just a commercial kitchen really... You have to park out back or use a Ring doorbell and then someone is simply supposed to leave your food sitting on a rack. Way too odd and frustrating of a process for me. It takes socio-isolation and viruphobia to a whole new level.
EDIT: I have been a second time now (first time I had amazing pizza - read below) but this time I tried the pastrami sandwich like the owner recommended. YUM. I love a good pastrami - I used to live in NYC and had many, MANY pastrami sandwiches (classic rye, mustard, swiss, pickles). This Boscoso pastrami had a twist (ciabatta, mozzarella, smoked sharp cheddar, pickles, spicy mustard, mayo, and I got extra pickles). The pastrami meat is soooo good (not stringy and fatty) and the bread was so fresh. I got the side pasta salad to go with it and the side was very large, had lots of fresh veggies. I highly recommend! --------------- Review from first visit: So good!!! This place just opened at the Irvine Smart Kitchens and I'm so glad they did! This pizza was amazing. I got the 10" Boscoso Fall Feature pizza with thin crust. It was really filling - I could only eat 3/4 slices and had to take the last one home (it reheats REALLY well in one of those Ninja toaster oven things). The toppings were all high quality and delicious, the consistency of the crust was perfect, and it was not overly greasy. When you order for pickup through ToastTab they give you an ETA for the order, and Boscoso brought my pizza out just on time, to the exact minute of the ETA. It was perfect and piping hot - and their pizza peppers are really good too. You know how sometimes pizza peppers seem to have lost all of their spice and flavor? Well these ones were fresh and spicy. I highly recommend Boscoso and I'll be ordering again soon :)
