Bookhouse Cinema

Bookhouse Cinema was established in 2018 as Joplin's Indie Focused Film Center with a mission of bringing independent, classic, documentary, foreign, and unique film screenings to the Joplin area in a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment. We offer a full restaurant with a full service bar in a casual counter-service environment. We collaborate frequently with local arts organizations, public media, Missouri Southern State University, and myriad businesses across the Joplin area. We enjoy helping people execute successful catered events, parties, celebrations, and artistic expressions. We strive to be a safe space for respectful people of all identities.
