A 'french galette' is a rustic, free-formed pie baked directly on a baking sheet. The flaky crust edges are folded over the center filling, leaving a wide opening from which any fillings can be seen. It is a beautiful accompaniment to your morning cup of coffee or continental breakfast.

Of course this pie is made with my mom's crust recipe and can be filled with any fruit in season. Out of season fruits may cost a bit more. If you have issue with sugar, this filling can be made with less sugar (or an alternative sugar) if you prefer.

I loved my mom's cornbread but I love butter too, so when I baked my cornbread, I'd melt butter in my iron skillet first and pour the batter right into the buttery pan. It makes the edges of the cornbread crisp and buttery and delicious. All cornbread cooked in a 8" iron skillet.

I've cooked a lot of boiled meals for my family that we serve over rice or some type of starch with cornbread. There are times when the meal is served over the cornbread! I add just enough cinnamon to reel you in and want more. This is not an overly sweet cornbread, it's just right! All cornbread cooked in a 8" iron skillet.

This beautiful 'Sweet 16' cake is comprised of two tiers (3 layers each). The six layers are ombré layers from white to dark pink inside. The white pearl decor is edible and the pink ribbon can be fondant (if desired).

These towers are three layers of 4" and 6" round cakes. The batter and buttercream frosting are your choosing with this new contemporary, fun style!
