SOGGY CHICKEN. picked up my chicken BEFORE the pick up time and it was already soggy and soft. No crunch whatsoever. This is ridiculous especially for how much it cost. Avoid this location at all cost.
The strips r super yummy 10/10 recommend. Bull dak is my fav
This is the place where we can get the best Fried Chicken in Newark. I recommend everyone to try their Crispy and Crunchy Fried Chicken with a cold beer . Yang yumm is my favourite here and it’s really yummm .
My son & I had the chicken 1/2& 1/2 for dinner & the next morning terrible stomach cramps. I know it was the chicken it seemed different when I took a bite. I should’ve taken it back for a refund!! Won’t be going back ! Even the onion rings weren’t great.
Used to love their chicken, unfortunately the last time had absolutely no flavor. I ordered half spicy and half soy ginger sauce. All you could taste was nasty old oil flavor, not even any salt. I can't recommend now, until after I hear that they have returned to the quality that I really liked The next day, I had a change of heart. Looking at the reviews, it's a 50/50 chance of getting SALMONELLA !!! just wondering if anyone is SUING them or why the HEALTH DEPARTMENT hasn't closed this That's really unfortunate , was such good chicken, not worth gambling on.
Well I've been to this place a couple of times and the food is amazing but I will no longer come here anymore with the homeless man outside of the restaurant have the restaurant and the area looking very nasty so I would never go back there again Parking: Very easy to find parking but the homeless man making it so disgusting Kid-friendliness: Yes
"As a self-proclaimed connoisseur of Korean fried chicken, Bonchon has always been in my top 3 – a culinary love affair, if you will. But even the deepest love can be tested. My friends and I, driven by our ravenous hunger, decided to dive into a family-style fried chicken feast, tackling five pieces each like warriors on a battlefield. But alas, the once-glorious chicken seemed to have lost its charm. It felt like they were resurrected from a previous life – re-fried and exuding a whiff of oil that's seen better days. The soy sauce, however, remained my loyal friend, clinging to the chicken with its familiar, comforting taste. Will I return to Bonchon? Perhaps, when my taste buds have amnesia and the memory of that not-so-fresh oil fades into oblivion. Until then, I'll be nursing my broken heart (and possibly my stomach). #FriedChickenFling #BonchonBetrayal #SoySauceSavior"
