Great service decent menu, some dishes were a little salty but overall pretty good

So glad to have found an Indian restaurant in Norwich that serves authentic Indian food with an amazing atmosphere from the staff to the music at the place, it is a VIBE. Jot was amazing at serving and very efficient. Will definitely be back to try more foods on the menu.

Great place for Indian food lovers in norwich. Both Veg and non vegetarian food options are available. Also one can enjoy indian street food here. Staff is very well mannered and helping in nature.

Food was Ok (Not spicy, we need to ask if we want to spice up a bit). Service is Ok. Ambience was great.

We had a lovely meal and the service was great. I was disappointed to find out that when you pay by card and include your tip in the payment the staff do not! receive the tips.

Having recently moved to Norfolk, we decided to explore Norwich yesterday and had lunch at the Bombai Kitchen for the first time. I know Mumbai well and have spent years there, returning every so often, so as far as food is concerned, I consider myself experienced enough to give a fair review of the food that my wife, who is also a seasoned traveller to India, and I ordered at yesterday's visit. Expecting the all too familiar watery Euro-Asian style of cooking, we were delighted to experience a meal that could have so easily been dished up on the streets of Mumbai. The lunch time menu is, of necessity, smaller than the evening's. I chose the Dum Biryani and my wife, Lamb Thali. We tasted each other's food, as you do, and gave what we ate 5 Stars and ended up taking what we couldn't finish, home. We would have to dig deep to find anything in our visit that could have been improved, but if we did, we would have preferred the unobtrusive Indian music to have been a little more classical to improve the ambience whilst eating. This is of course only a personal opinion. We're keen to visit in the evening and sample the larger menu, safe enough in the knowledge that the friends we bring with us, will not be disappointed.

The character of the place truly shines through its people, and one standout staff member, "Jot," deserves special recognition. Jot's hospitality has made every visit feel like coming home.
