Boathouse at Forest Park

I like this boathouse restaurant; the view is wonderful, the waitress is friendly, and the service is prompt. The prices are great too. I remember we had a kids’ meal and an adult meal, which only cost us $24, which is fantastic

It was more of an experience than somewhere I personally would eat at regularly but they were busy so I'm sure it is popular. My black bean burger had avocado on it and was extremely messy and although not terrible it wasn't great. My daughter's sandwich was pretty good although she said the pretzel bun was a little tough. We got there early and before we were finished it had gotten really busy and there were no offers to refill our waters or to inquire if everything was OK and we finally had to go looking for take out containers and the check so we could leave. Again they had gotten busy and it looked like they only had one server and one person delivering the food. It was nice sitting out watching the ducks and they have a bin with food to feed the ducks and fish.

Great place to enjoy a cocktail or jump on a canoe! Have done both and will again!

Good food beautiful surroundings reasonable prices

Absolutely delicious!! The food was so good. We had the Reuben and fried shrimp. Everything was hot and fresh! We will be back!!

This is my favorite restaurant. All of the employees are friendly. The service is great. The food is delicious. The drinks are excellent. They also give my daughter food to feed the fish. We visit all the time. Can’t wait to come back.

I love the location of the outdoor seating on the water’s edge. Boating can also be rented next door for a kayak or paddle boat. The biggest issue is getting there. It’s a great day outside how about a trip to the Boathouse? Sounds great until you try and park. There’s an endless parade of cars driving through the parking lot looking for a spot that doesn’t exist, so you got to park on the street. After driving around for 10 minutes, you might give up and go somewhere else. That said, IF you can find a place to park and didn’t have to walk 2 miles away, it’s a great place to eat. The food is well portioned and delicious, plenty of seating available outside, and good beer selection.
