Blue Nile African Restaurant

I’m super bummed! The food was sooo good & I initially gave 5 stars but as I continued through my meal I found a huge sharp price of plastic in my mouth! I thought it was a bone initially but it was a large clear hard piece of plastic.

This restaurant was amazing right from when we were greeted to when we finished our meal. Went with 3 other people and we LOVE this place and the lovely man who treated us like queens and kings. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff brought out complementary dessert for our birthday boy! Highly recommend ( I never leave reviews but this place is special). Thanks so much!!!!

Fantastic food served in such a cozy and warm space. Visiting this restaurant feels like a home coming every visit. Nourishing food and wonderful warm staff. Would recommend to any one looking for a unique dining and flavour experience.

An amazing introduction for me to East African cuisines. I mean the food was so good I’m still thinking about it a week later. Beautiful family owned business with food with such wonderful flavours. If you live or are visiting Victoria this is a must try.

The best most flavourful and satisfying meal we have had in a very very long time. My husband was so charmed by the staff and atmosphere when he went to pick up the takeout. This will be our new takeout spot. We really hope this amazing restaurant is able to continue in a new location!! We need them in our community

The food is absolutely delicious, the people are kind and welcoming, the vibe is calm and relaxing, the music is great, the ambient lighting is perfect, and the artwork on the walls is beautiful! This is a very special place and a great experience. You’re sure to leave with full belly’s and happy hearts. 100000/10 recommend.
