Black Cat Pizzeria

The food is like any other pizza place, but there is a surcharge if you pay with a credit card. I wouldn't go there again. Eating out is already expensive and if you add a surcharge it makes it worse.

I know they have great reviews, maybe we were just there on an off night. After a little time we may give them another try. We walked in and there were three employees at the counter, one on the phone taking an order and it looked like a manager and another employee standing a little ways down the counter having a counseling session that should have been taken place in the back but we waited for a while before someone even greeted us! We waited for the employee taking the order on the phone to finish before anyone acknowledged us. The manager and the other employee were so engrossed in their conversation that they did not even acknowledge our presence. Pretty sad way to start off a first impression to a new customer who has never been there before. So we ordered our pizza and they brought it out and it was less than spectacular. The ingredients were fresh and the pizza looked good however it was almost burnt on the bottom, doughy and gooey in the middle. We were not happy and I asked if this was normal and the response was "yeah that looks about right". They did not seem to concerned that we weren't happy. So apparently if you like pizza that's burnt on the bottom and still dough underneath the toppings and this is the place for you. Because according to them that's about right. Surely with all the positive reviews this can't be the norm for this pizza kitchen, so after a little while we'll go back and give it another go just because of its reputation. But if this had been my first visit offhand without any prior expectations I can tell you that we wouldn't bother to go back again.

Black Cat Pizzeria is my favorite pizza place in the state of Florida! I found this pizza restaurant on a total whim and I couldn't be happier! There is a tasety variety to choose from. I found the cheese bread sticks and pizza to be very delicious. I really look forward to future visits at Black Cat Pizzeria!

Probably the best pizza around! Love this stuff! This will be a weekly visit for sure!
