Bivouac Adventure Lodge: Cider Bar & Coffee Shop

The adventure lodge was beautiful and it provided a unique and creative experience for me. There was something interesting in every part of the lodge. The food was delicious and I really enjoyed the non-alcoholic mimosas. Thank you for a lovely morning.

We had an amazing event at Bivouac Adventure Lodge today! We hosted an installation of officers for our charitable organization. After a lovely brunch buffet, we heard about the community togetherness mission of Bivouac from owner Lara. The cider mimosas were delicious and the beautiful surroundings made everyone so happy and relaxed. The food, service and atmosphere couldn’t have been better.

Great new expansion and very detailed decor.

This place is amazing. The space is built out nicely, so you never feel cramped. The Ciders are out of this world: there is one for any type of taste. The service is tremendous, and you will not go unnoticed! There are some other fun features where you can get games to play with friends or family, and like any good bar, they have old school 80's arcade games. Yeah, that's Ms. Packman to you! The food was amazing from the Buffalo Cauliflower to the polenta tater tots. I would have given the hummus a standing ovation, but no one would have noticed because they were hastily eating it. This experience was one of the best I have ever had!

This place is so dynamic- it truly has it all! The perfect place for a coffee date, work session, or happy hour- it's also an event space, has a general store, grab and go food AND a restaurant! You can easily spend 8 hours here and its feels like a blip. Add the fact that it's woman owned and run and supports local artists and other local small businesses, it's truly a new beacon of San Diego!

Coffee, cider and food are all 10/10! Had a campfire latte (um wow so good and the latte art was so cute!) and a coffee cake first and then hung out and got a falafel salad and a cider for lunch. A beautiful place to hang out and the staff is very sweet and helpful! Free WiFi and comfy couches are a real plus— the perfect study spot!

This place is amazing! It has it all! You can work from there and enjoy a coffee, you can grab a gift for a friend at the general store or you can do a cider tasting of some of the best cider. I personally love going on Sunday afternoon when they have the slow jamz. It’s so fun and such a vibe! If you haven’t tried this place yet, then you need to. You won’t regret it!

Beautiful space! Great coffee and cider. I love to get an iced campfire latte and sit at the little tables outside to read a book…it makes me feel like I’m at a cafe in Europe 😂

I was lucky enough to experience Bivouac for the first time with a coworking group, and we got a tour of this remarkable space. The backstory itself is fascinating! It is a combination of an espresso and coffee bar, an open dome area for co-working and networking, a hard cider bar, and a cider tasting room, something for everyone and every part of the day! There is a store, too! The decor is unlike anywhere else, every element of the space is thoughtfully selected and sustainably sourced. This alone creates a special ambiance. Lots of natural light, and definitely check out the restroom, the walk there is epic! ⛰️ Food-wise: I sampled several draft ciders, ended up getting one of the monthly specials (made with crabapples!) all were light and lovely, subtle compared to almost any other ciders I’ve had in the past. Had a few bites of their bar foods as shared plates, all are well-seasoned with creative dipping sauces (and I am a foodie through & through). Ingredients are clearly fresh, which makes a huge difference. I intend to come back to try full dishes and the coffee, and will be returning for the changing cider specials! You can feel how much heart was put into creating this unique space, I will be recommending it to my personal community!
