Bittersweet Confections

Bittersweet Confections was founded in 2002 by local chocolatier Cheryl Scripter. The bakery is located in the Warehouse District in New Orleans. The cafe serves coffee, brunch, and lunch while the bakery serves cakes, cupcakes and specialty desserts. Bittersweet specializes in custom cakes, wedding cakes and groom's cakes. And, of course, during Mardi Gras season, they make their famous chocolate King Cake.
