Welcome to BISTR09! What is in a name? A new Bistro in 78209=BISTR09!This is the 9th restaurant project Chef Damien Watel has undertaken with the collaboration of his wife, Chef Lisa Astorga Watel.Neuf in French, also means new and also is the French word for the number 9. After one year of patience and determination, our new location is taking shape. And now, after 5 years of being operational, our Bistro is still perfectly situated in the heart of Alamo Heights, in the former well known French restaurant L'Etoile space .It was high time for the 09 area to get a new dining spot and we've been thriving since!
