Billy Q's Sun City end of Mountain View Clubhouse

This place. About the only decent thing here is, perhaps, the pizza. Went here last night to try something different. Don't bother......there was absolutely NO taste or flavor in anything we had. The French Dip was covered in melting cheese and the meat lacked flavor. The au jus - why bother? It was basically colored water. The side salad while nice was Full of red and yellow onions (why?) and the "blue cheese" dressing was mayonnaise with exactly one small piece of "blue cheese." Awful! Sister had the chicken avocado sandwich which was huge but also lacked flavor. She said the chicken was very dry. The potato salad needed mustard and some flavoring. Husband had the "lasagna" which he said by the time he finished it was like eating paste. All of this while the cook/owner (?) is in the open kitchen berating another employee. Why? I hope SCPD boots this vendor out and chooses a decent one. Deserve better.

I thought the food was delicious. So did my mom who has lived in Sun City for 23 years. To address other comments I read. The place is not a huge restaurant and you can hear people in the kitchen. No big deal

My husband and I went here for an early dinner. The food was good but the experience can only be described as miserable. The OWNER no less was seated at the front of the restaurant engaged in a conversation with other staff and a customer who was seated across the room. Yelling is the only term that I can use. We were there for 45 minutes and it never stopped. The OWNER insulted "20%" of the residents as "impossible" (I can only assume that I am now included in that group), used several profanities and then had the audacity to thank us on our way out. When neither of us responded as we were so irritated over his behavior, he said something along the lines of "well I guess I'm just invisible tonight" as we walked out the door. I only wish you WERE invisible and silent, sir! The wait staff were lovely. I realize that they couldn't do anything to help the situation. We understand the this restaurant is a casual, sports bar kind of place but you also need to read your demographic and maybe take notice of how many customers moved to the outside tables to escape your obnoxious behavior.

Love their subs and sides.

I will not recommend this place. Our young female manager/server was rude and disrespectful. We asked a male server about the charged for extra dressing. I said that the server should have told me that there’s extra charge, it’s not about the money, it’s the principle. If I was told, I will not asked for it. So he said that he’s going to take it off this time. Then the manager gave me my check and it’s still there. Bob called her and told her what the other server said. She said in a rude way that he has no say so, she’s the manager. She said that the extra side charges are in the menu and point it out to us, top right corner, which I didn’t look up there. Bob said that we didn’t see that part of the menu, we looked on the entree only, She gave him a nasty remarks and said that she’s going to have Billy kick us out. We didn’t say or do anything for her to say that. I told Bob I should not give her tip, but Bob said that I should not lower myself in her level, so I gave her 20% gratuity. On our way out, Bob had a long conversation with Billy the owner about her attitude and rudeness. Billy apologize on her behalf. The Laura Salad was good except for the strips of chicken breast was tasteless and awful. I couldn’t eat the chicken.

The greasiest crust pizza I’ve ever experienced. UGH!!!!!!

Great Food!! Great Service!! So far, we have ordered the "Works" pizza, Logann's Lasagna w/cheesy garlic bread, Cheeseburger w/fries, JQ's Club sandwich, the Classic Sub, Mackenzie's Mac & Cheese and the Chicken Wings Dine in and take out. I didn't get a picture of the Burger or Wings, but everything we've ordered has been amazing! We feel very lucky to have Billy Q's right here in the heart of our community.
