Found this place because of Diners, Drive ins and Dives. The food is absolutely amazing!!! I highly recommend this restaurant. Don’t wait too long because they do sell out fast. I hope one day they can expand and have multiple locations around the city. The atmosphere is great and the workers are very friendly and helpful. They definitely earned a repeat customer!!!! Well done!!!
They didn't have what we came to try. It was going to be a 30 min. wait to try something else. The only food readily available was the soul food plate. The mac was good, didn't ike the cabbage, the rice was hard and not flavorful. The chicken was just OK. Between that and the terrible parking, not sure we will be back, we drove out of the way to try this place and for the price we paid it wasn't worth the drive. Parking: Tight lot, we had to reverse out because someone parked blocking the remainder of the lot and nobody could get through.
Great Caribbean Food! Big plates, seasoned food, and the Rasta Pasta is to die for! The food was so good that I had to go back and shake Big Jay's hand for such a delicious meal and blessing my taste buds. Don't mind the price, it is reasonable for the portion size! A MUST TRY!
Got my lil oxtails and couldn't even pull off cause once I opened the box, I couldn't close it!!!!!! This food is top tier! Out-of-towners my visit too
The best Caribbean soul food restaurant in the city of Cincinnati. The oxtails are the best in the city hands-down, the macaroni and cheese and greens are scrumptious. The owner J is a very sweet gentleman and the staff is nice.
Rasta pasta is my favorite. Generous portions and flavors are on point!
I ordered the jerk chicken soul food plate which comes with two drummies, about two cups white rice, one cup maccheeze, one cup collards. Generous portion. No cilantro to be found on the rice but since chicken sat on top, plenty of juices ran down to flavor it up. Deliciously spicy and a little sweet. Chix cooked perfectly. Chix not spicy at all for jerk so slightly disappointing there. Wish I had some scotch bonnet pepper sauce. But that's how I am. Mac was just okay to me but the collards were off the chart. Collards carry the meal to the finish with five stars. Thank you.
Mannnn, you ain't never had a plate this damn good. It's the Rasta Pasta for me, I got it 3 days in a row. For $20 it fed me and my wife, FULL. I keep hearing the jerk Quesadillas and Oxtails, so I can't wait
