Best Western Sysonby Knoll Hotel

Very friendly staff and super food.

Lovely staff went out of their way to help with taxis and a running route. Bed was comfortable but bathroom badly needed updating and shower was poor. Could hear every sound from nearby rooms, including the movement on hangers in the wardrobe, so there’s no soundproofing at all.

Fantastic place to stay.

I’ve stayed at the hotel before, the rooms are well dated, but clean. On arrival, the welcome, was non existent!! Just a blunt women, no how are you, no nothing. She didn’t tell in which direction my room was, she was as blunt they come !! The last time I had an evening meal hear it was great, this time it was bland, Yorkshire pudding with Lincolnshire sausages, I didn’t eat them, poor quality, In fact I’m glad I could only get one night in here as it was booked up. So glad I’m staying elsewhere tomorrow night .

Attended a wake, staff friendly

Dud not stay overnight, rather a Christmas lunch ( ex work colleagues). Good food, well cooked and presented. Reasonable wine prices. Food & drinks: Very good Christmas lunch (for 24 guests in one party). Reasonable price for both the 3 course lunch and wine. Booked again for next year.
